Most of the credit for this belongs to Shawn, who helped me make this video for film class this past semester. Thankfully he has a beautiful camera, a face worthy of photographing and the patience for the painful process of editing and helping me, which made it all possible!

I’ve really been enjoying my brand spanking new blog, but the only thing thats missing is brand spanking new photographs. The newest work I’ve posted was from December. My time has been completely eaten up by the six classes I took this semester. But this is my last week of the spring semester and I have ten days to celebrate before the summer semester starts. I’m going to spend most of the break walking the dogs, taking as many photographs as possible, scan negatives, and get film processed. Wooo! I should have new work posted here as soon as tomorrow night. Thankfully my film refrigerator keeps my film at the perfect temperature while waiting a painfully long time before being shot and processed.

At this former state hospital theater, the walls of the small projection room had every film played hand written on the walls by the projectionists. Most of the former hospital is now a medium security prison but this amazing piece of hospital history is left behind which I had the opportunity to photograph.
